In our initial discovery, we realized that drivers were not entirely aware within IoT systems. As a result, we designed the mobile app to be intuitive and user-friendly, providing drivers with an easy-to-use experience throughout their deliveries. It featured real-time cooler monitoring to ensure pharmaceuticals were transported under optimal conditions, streamlined loading and unloading processes to reduce errors and improve efficiency, and real-time alerts to enable drivers to take prompt corrective action. The app's intuitive design made it easy for drivers to navigate and use, even with limited technical experience. 9/10 drivers reported that these features collectively enhanced delivery efficiency, reduced the risk of product spoilage, and improved the overall driver experience.
To empower fleet managers, we moved away from Excel sheets and developed a comprehensive dashboard that serves as a powerful multitasking tool, centralizing essential data for seamless oversight. It streamlined trip creation workflow and simplified planning and tracking, with the flexibility for future upgrades to enhance functionality. Additionally, personalized rule-setting enabled precise sensor alerts tailored to specific requirements, which allowed managers to proactively address potential issues.
Drivers benefited from real-time temperature monitoring and streamlined processes, leading to reduced wastage of pharmaceuticals and improved delivery times. Fleet managers gained better oversight and control, facilitating improved resource allocation and proactive issue resolution. This integration created a more responsive logistics environment, allowing for swift adaptations to challenges.
